Privacy notice
Last updated 28 October 2026
This notice explains what information the AurisGuard website (aurisguard.com) collects, why, and what you can do about it. We have tried to keep it short and plain.
Who we are
AurisGuard is a product of Igneous Labs, which is the data controller for this website. You can reach us at admin@igneouslabs.io about anything in this notice.
What we collect
When you fill in the demo or information form, we collect what you type: your name, work email, company, role, company size, the concerns you select, and any note you add. We also record which link brought you to the site (for example, a tagged link from a LinkedIn post), if there was one.
When you visit the site, the page sends a few anonymous events to our own server so we can see how the site is used: that the home page was opened, the website that referred you (just its domain, such as linkedin.com), the tag on the link you followed (if any), which sections you scrolled to, which buttons you clicked, and whether you started or sent the form. We also record your approximate country, which our content delivery network (Amazon CloudFront) works out from your connection. We do not record your IP address, and these events contain no identifier, so they cannot be linked to each other or to you. They never include anything you type into the form.
We do not use cookies, and the site does not store anything in your browser. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not load fonts, scripts, or images from other companies.
Why we use it
- To reply to your request for a demo or information. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give with the checkbox on the form.
- To understand which topics and links interest visitors, so we can improve the site and our product. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a website, using anonymous counts that do not identify you.
Who processes it
Form submissions and the anonymous visit events are stored in Amazon Web Services in the United States (us-east-1). If you are in the UK or European Economic Area, this means your data is transferred to the United States; we rely on Amazon's data processing terms, including the standard contractual clauses, for that transfer. Form submissions are also emailed to our team's inboxes so we can reply.
We do not sell or share your personal information, and we never have.
How long we keep it
- Form submissions: 24 months in our database, then deleted automatically (backups are kept for up to 35 more days). The notification emails our team receives are deleted on the same schedule.
- Anonymous visit events: 13 months, then deleted automatically.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or California law), you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email admin@igneouslabs.io and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top of this page.
